In order to ensure the systematic development of our applications and a high level of quality, it is necessary to introduce payments for our services. However, we want the fees for the Good Coach app to be fair, simple to calculate and based on actual usage.
Additionally, it is our intention to support coaches who are just starting out on their journey. Therefore, we have introduced a fee system as described below.

First and foremost

Any coach can use the Good Coach app for free by coaching up to 2 athletes. This is indefinite, we do not have any trial periods.


Rules at a nutshell

  • Costs are only charged to coaches, athlete accounts are free.
  • For the coach, athletes from 1st to 2rd inclusive are free.
  • For the coach, each connected athlete from 3th to 15th costs 3 Euros per month.
  • No trial period, the rules do not change after a certain period.
  • If the connection with the athlete has not taken place for a whole month, the fee is calculated proportionally to the number of days of the connection.
  • The fee is calculated regardless of the level of activity between the athlete and the coach, so the coach can bear the cost of the connection with the athletes, even if the athlete is in a state of suspension (athletes in the archive are not included in the fees).
  • The maximum fee is 39 Euros, so in the case of 16 athletes or more, the fee does not increase further.

How is the coach charged?

The use of the Good Coach app by a coach who has more than 2 athletes requires:
  1. the coach must complete his billing details, which will be used to invoice us (Profile → Billing Details)
  2. the first billing will take place after the end of the calendar month. Then the coach will receive an invoice with a request for payment via Stripe
  3. the coach will be able to see in his profile the estimated amount of the next payment
  4. depending on the choice of the currency of charge option, it is possible to pay in Euro, USD or Polish Zloty. In the case of currency other than Euro, the value will be converted at the current exchange rate used by the Stripe service.


How are fees affected by athlete changes during the month?

  1. Invoices are issued in advance for the new month on the last day of the previous month.
  2. The value of the invoice depends on the current number of athletes on the day of the invoice.
  3. Detailed rules for the calculation of fees are set out in Section 6 of the Terms of Service.


Are taxes added to the charges?

  1. When completing the billing data, the coach will be able to provide us with their tax identification number issued by one of the countries of the European Union or Northern Ireland, which is registered for intra-community services and available to be found active through the VIES service or any other country VAT number confirming that he performs an entrepreneurial business activity.
  2. This number will be verified by us within 24 hours and if it is correct and issued by a country other than Poland, and entered in billing data address and country for invoicing will be other than Poland, no VAT will be added to the fee.
  3. Otherwise, 23% VAT will be added to the fee.
  4. For services rendered by us we will issue a correct invoice in English or Polish, according to the preferences selected in the tab "Billing Details" by the Coach.

Discounts

When a discount code is used, the code is accounted for so that until the code expires or is used up, it is considered for the entire calculated amount to be paid, after taking into account any credit from previous months. For example:


A coach has to pay for 4 athletes 6 Euros. If he uses a discount code that reduces the payment by 50%, he will pay 3 Euros.
